According to the Project Management Institute, megaprojects are defined as large-scale, intricate ventures typically costing more than $1 billion and taking many years to complete. These encompass mixed-use developments and infrastructure projects supporting urban planning.

Every year witnesses the launch of new megaprojects in the UAE, complementing completed ones like One Za’abeel, Uptown Tower Dubai, and Atlantis the Royal.
