The Dubai Land Department (DLD) is pleased to announce the commencement of the “Dubai Real Estate Programme,” a strategic initiative designed to strengthen the emirate’s real estate sector. This program fosters a collaborative environment by partnering with leading developers, including Emaar Properties, Expo Dubai, Deyaar, DAMAC Properties, Azizi Developments, MAG, Sobha Realty, Ellington Properties, and Al Bait Al Duwaliy Real Estate Development.
The initial phase of the program focuses on promoting ethical practices and professional standards within the industry. Through a series of strategic alliances signed by DLD’s Acting Director-General, Marwan bin Ghalita, the program anticipates expanding partnerships with prominent developers and real estate brokers in Dubai.
This collaborative effort aims to enhance the competitiveness of Emirati professionals by facilitating their roles within the real estate sector. The program will achieve this through the development and implementation of high-quality projects, fostering cooperation between DLD and industry partners.
Furthermore, DLD has partnered with leading real estate platforms, Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut, to provide real estate training and complimentary property listings for agents.
The program also prioritizes Emirati talent by allocating a 10-15% quota of projects to be sold through Emirati brokers. Additionally, it aims to create job opportunities within the participating companies, aligning with existing labor laws.
